Nathanael Logan, US Army, Chaplain Cpt.

Nathanael Logan served in the Army since 10 April 2001. He served in the Regular Army (Active Duty) for his first enlistment. He served in combat in Afghanistan in 2003. Nathanael ended his time in service (ETS) and was placed in the Inactive Ready Reserves for just under two years. He enlisted to become a Drill Sergeant on 07 December 2006.

He became a chaplain candidate in October of 2009 While attending Seminary at Baptist Bible Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. He pastored a small church in Sierra Vista, AZ for three years where he also served as an Army Reserve Chaplain. Nathanael joined the Regular Army again in November 2017.

In total, He has served 20 years between two components and two more years inactive.

He has a Master’s of Arts in Biblical Counseling (MABC) and a Master’s of Arts in Biblical Studies (MABS) out of Baptist Bible Theological Seminary in Springfield, MO. He also has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Missions and Bible from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.

He has been certified biblical counselor through ACBC since 2014. Nathanael is committed to the furtherance of the gospel and its impact on the lives of people for the glory of God. Having served for over 20 years as a Soldier or chaplain he believes FSM is effective in reaching Soldiers with the gospel and helping them live lives that are pleasing to Christ.
