I first met Jim Retzke at a housewarming party in Edenton, NC where, early into our discussion, I realized that we had much in common with our love of the Lord. Since that time, as I’ve learned more about Fallen Soldiers March and their godly mission, I’ve prayed for guidance about how I can best contribute, and I promote the messages of sufficiency of Scripture and Fallen Soldiers March Certified (FSM) Biblical Counseling Network for those in need.
For many years, I’ve felt a calling to form a ministry and after much prayer, I founded Aletheia Christian Ministries (ACM) with my wife and two sons where I serve as a Director. "Aletheia" is Greek for "truth", God’s truth, and that’s needed now more than ever. Many of our children and those in society without foundations in Scripture are being led astray by secularists seeking individual power through destruction of tradition, family, faith, and love of our great nation under God. Those in our military, and their families, deal with great stress and many are in need of healing power only available in Scripture. The people I’ve met at FSM have helped countless others through Biblical Soul Care, providing hope through the grace and love of Jesus Christ, and so I’m honored to serve this organization.
Professionally: I’m an entrepreneur and former US Marine with domestic & international government, military, and private sector experience focused on the creation and delivery of commercial software products. I’ve co-founded several software companies delivering enterprise software since 1997 and my software products are used in a variety of data systems in Law Enforcement, National Intelligence, Defense, and the private sector in more than two dozen countries. Experience in the United States includes work with a number of Fortune 1000 companies, DOD, DIA, CIA, NSA, IRS, FinCEN, NYPD, FBI, Washington/Baltimore HIDTA, Marines, Navy, Army, and dozens more in government.
My passion is first for Jesus and then all other good things in life, including time with family, friends and the pursuit of knowledge in engineering, law, and history.
