The Fallen Soldiers March™ was marching alongside Vanderbilt ROTC Cadets on October 13, 2012.
As part of the Vanderbilt Military Appreciation Day activities for the Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Florida Gators football game; a symbolic patriotic march honoring our Fallen Veterans originated at the Nashville National Cemetery in Madison, Tennessee and ended at Vanderbilt Stadium at Dudley Field
The Fallen Soldiers March™ transferred Old Glory to the Color Guard for the singing of the National Anthem approximately twenty minutes prior to the nationally televised 5:00pm CST kickoff time.
Recognizing the Fallen Soldiers March™ challenging mission to raise the $15,000-30,000+ required to purchase highly trained service dogs for our wounded Veterans; Vanderbilt provided a nationally telecasted venue to raise awareness. The Fallen Soldiers March™ website, logo and a brief description of our mission was featured on the electronic scoreboard.
Thank you for tuning in to the game and sharing on facebook and Twitter to help support the Fallen Solders March™ and the Vanderbilt Commodores.
