Personal Message

I am proud to come from a family who served. My dad was a WWII Vet who served on a Navy medical ship in Guadalcanal. He passed on in 2017. My brother is a decorated Vietnam Vet (US Army)who saved his whole platoon. My son served our country for 7 years as a Staff Sargent in the US Air Force. He was a Crew Chief servicing C130 aircraft. I love my country and I have a deep and profound respect for those who sacrifice a part of their lives in service that I might be free.
I consider it a privilege to be a part of an organization that is helping an extraordinary group of people- the American Veteran.

I have been counseling biblically for more than 25 years and am currently writing my dissertation for my Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling. I am the founder and director of Reigning Grace Counseling Center in Kansas City, MO. There I provide counseling services and train other people to effectively use the Word of God to help people deal with the problems they have in life.

My husband and I have raised 3 sons and have 2 adorable grandchildren. Our favorite place on earth is the Rocky Mountains and we go west every opportunity we can. We love to walk the trails and drive through the mountain passes where we stop (frequently) for me to take pictures of the beauty of God’s creation.
